Established in 1996, Wilson’s has over two-decades-long history and experience in making healthy and tasty chikkis. We are among the first three brands in Bangalore to have started manufacturing and selling chikkis.
Under our brand ‘Wilson’s Sweets Bangalore’, we manufacture a variety of snacks and savories. Our product range includes groundnut products such as chikki or commonly called barfi/Kadle mittai. We also have our unique ‘Masala Puri’ product made from puffed rice and we also cater products made from sesame such as sesame balls.
We are a small family committed to serving healthy and tasty food products to our consumers.
Our Founder: Wilson D’souza
Determined to provide healthy and tasty chikkis, Wilson (Ji) started the brand. Since the brands’ inception, we have been true to our core values inculcated by Wilson Ji to provide the best quality to our consumer family.
“The home-made food, made by our mother is the most healthy and delicious food compared to any other in the world” We at Wilson’s have and will strive to help our consumers avail the same home-made, healthy and traditional chikki and other snacks through our services.”
How are we doing it?
We ensure to hand pick our select quality ingredients. To make our chikki, we use only groundnuts with rich oil content, jaggery, and elaichi. We do not use any added sugar, preservative, artificial colour, artificial flavour and liquid glucose. All our ingredients are chemical-free.
Our mission is to cater to healthy and tasty home-made snacks to our consumers.
Over the past 23 years, our recipe and our quality of ingredients have not changed. Quality is the one thing that we have ensured not to compromise. The only thing we had changed since we have grown and scaled was in 2015 through our GREEN INITIATIVE.
What is the Green Initiative?
Back in 2015, our small unit decided to take a major step. To ensure a sustainable future, we wanted to play our small part, and we did so by renovating and upgrading our entire manufacturing unit to green energy. We replaced our old chimney and furnace type of manufacturing to all induction cooking machines.
Induction cooking uses only electricity to heat. There is no smoke or any air and noise pollutants emitted. We installed over 60 solar panels to convert solar energy into electrical.
We have also kept 1/4th of our manufacturing land free of any construction. We have grown a few trees and plants there which we take care of.
